2005 - Troop and Crew 180 plan to send a contingent to Eurojam, the European Jamboree that will take place in England from July 29 to August 10, 2005. Our contingent will form a combined jamboree troop with a contingent from our international friendship group, the 113th Blue Mountain Scout Group, Bratislava, Slovakia. Home stays and sightseeing will also be part of this trip.
2004 - 20 Scouts and Venturers and 3 adult leaders from Troop and Crew 180 formed a joint Michigan International Camporee troop with 16 Scouts and 3 adult leaders from the Queen’s Royal College Scout Group, Port of Spain, Trinidad. Four additional Crew 180 Venturers and two 180 adults served on the MIC staff. Troop and Crew 180 hosted the Scouts and leaders from Trinidad and two MIC staff members from the Perchtoldsdorf Scout Group in Austria in our homes from July 22 to August 1, camped with them at the Michigan International Camporee from August 1 to 8, and then hosted them in our homes again until their departure on August 10.


2003 - 30 day trip to Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy. 2001 - U. S. National Jamboree - Scoutmaster served on the International Hosting Staff and 2 Scouts participated as part of the Chief Okemos Council Contingent.




2000 - Michigan International Camporee - Troop 180 families hosted Scouts and leaders from Slovakia and camporee staff members from Austria in their homes, Troop 180 Scouts and leaders camped in a troop with the Scouts and leaders from Slovakia and Troop 180 leaders served as Camporee Chief and in other key camporee staff positions.



1999 - 36 day trip to Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Germany, Denmark, The Netherlands, and the Blue Summer National Camp of the Danish Scout and Guide Association which was held at Stevninghus Scout Camp. Our Danish host families were from the Boy Scout group in Kliplev and we camped at Blue Summer as part of the Kliplev Scout Group. We also held a joint camp with the 17th Bratislava Scout Group in Slovakia near Vychodna and the Tatra Mountains, stayed with Scout host families in Budapest, Hungary (Troop 400), and Cologne, Germany (Karthago-Persepolis troop), and stayed in Scout houses in Perchtoldsdorf, Austria, Berlin, Germany, and Zwanenburg, The Netherlands. We want to thank our host families and host troops for their hospitality and to thank Scouts and leaders from Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, Germany, Denmark, and a BSA troop in Berlin for showing us some of their countries while we were on this trip. 1995 - Scoutmaster served as Scoutmaster of troop of Michigan and Ohio
Scouts who traveled to Germany, Austria, and The Netherlands and participated in
the 18th World Jamboree.

1994 - 38 day
trip to Switzerland, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Czech, Germany, Denmark,
Sweden, and the Blue Summer National Camp of the Danish Scout and Guide Association which was held
at Stevninghus Scout
Camp
. Our Danish
host families were from the Boy Scout group in Broager and we camped at Blue
Summer as part of a camp family which included the Broager Boy Scout Group, the
Gyldenløve Scout Group from Jystrup Sj, and the Søndermark Scout
Group from Copenhagen. We stayed with Scout host families in Lachen,
Switzerland, Budapest, Hungary (Troop 400), and Lindingö, Sweden (Norra Lindingö
Sjöscoutkar). We also stayed at a Scout camp near Salzburg named
Pfadfinderdorf Zellhof
, in a youth hostel in
Bratislava, at a Scout camp outside Prague, and in the Søndermark Group's Scout
house in Copenhagen, and camped with Norra Lindingö Sjöscoutkar on an island in
the Stockholm archipelago. We want to thank our host families for their

Denmark, and Sweden for showing us some of their countries while we were on this

the Columbus Jamboree.



1992 - Hosted a group of Scouts from Australia, took them on a
tour of Niagara Falls and New England, and camped with them at the Connecticut
International Camporee.

1992 - Trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.

1991 - Troop 180's Venture Crew planned and ran the Huron
District Spring Camporee as their "ultimate adventure " for the Orienteering
Venture Award.

1991 - Trip to the Western United States and the Teton High
Adventure Base.
1990 - Backpacking Expedition to Isle Royale in Lake Superior.

1990 - Scouts and leaders participated in Grand River
Expedition '90, canoeing the length of the Grand River.


1989 - 31 day trip to Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium The

Michigan Scouts who traveled to New Zealand and Australia and participated in
the 16th World Jamboree.
