Troop 180 has an active troop committee. Our troop committee completes the behind-the scenes tasks that are necessary for our troop to function and there are also usually at least one or two troop committee members at each troop meeting. Three of our troop committee members have earned their Wood Badge beads. Many of our troop committee members have also served Scouting on the district and council level and four of them have been awarded the District Award of Merit.
Two Troop 180 assistant Scoutmasters and five troop committee members served on the staff of the 1997 Michigan International Camporee.
